Daniel Strömblad - Consultant Manager Clinical Development
We are very pleased to welcome Daniel Strömblad as Consultant Manager in our Clinical Development team here at PharmaRelations. To get to know Daniel a little better, we asked a few questions about his role, experiences, and interests.
Hello and a warm welcome to PhamaRelations! How are you feeling?
It feels great to start at PharmaRelations after a long summer holiday!
What motivated you to join us at PharmaRelations?
It was impossible to resist the opportunity to a varied role as Consultant Manager in Clinical Development. After a couple of years at medical and commercial departments I longed back to clinical trials.
Can you tell us a bit about your previous experience?
During my 20 years within pharma I have tried several different roles both in Pharma and CRO. It gives me a good understanding of which steps it takes from development of a substance in a laboratory to the final product used by the patients. The start of my career was at QA, then I moved on to different roles within clinical research. The last years I worked at medical affairs and commercial.
What excites you most about your new role?
The variation of the role made me choose to become a Consultant Manager. It combines finding and fostering new talents that provide value for our clients and in the end new innovative treatments become available for the patients.
What are you most passionate about in your work?
Collaboration! Bringing great people together to get the work done. Also looking forward to share knowledge with my new colleagues at the neighboring departments.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My main hobby is to ride enduro. It gives a good exercise and it’s a very social sport taking me to adventures around the country with friends.
